About Ragan

Ragan Graves is a native Nashvillian and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with experience providing clinical mental health services to adolescents, adults and families. Her passion is to walk alongside clients who may be struggling to make sense of life's ups and downs and to help them reach a place of hope and acceptance. By offering a safe and comfortable space, Ragan’s goal is to assist clients in identifying areas of pain in order to grow, transform, and heal. She uses an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, with the understanding that each individual is complex and unique.

Ragan received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and completed her clinical internships at Cumberland Heights addiction treatment center and The Refuge Center for Counseling. After graduating, she continued post-masters and contract work at the Refuge Center for Counseling while working in private practice. Most recently, Ragan was part of the clinical team at Green Hills Family Psych in Nashville, TN.

Ragan is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Level 1 and 2 trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma work, and is a certified facilitator for PREPARE/ENRICH pre-marital assessment. Ragan is also a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Ragan worked in real estate marketing after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Auburn University. When not in the therapy room, Ragan enjoys spending time with her husband, two-year-old daughter, and two Brittany spaniels, reading, walking the neighborhood with friends, and enjoying all of the new restaurants Nashville has to offer.
